TDI launches Tuscan City in Kundli

Published: May 22, 2009

New Delhi: Real estate developer TDI Infrastructure Ltd has announced the launch of Tuscan City in Kundli. Designed around the theme of Italy, this is an affordable housing project, which claims to bring to India for the first time the look and feel of Italian lifestyle, known for its panache, design and architecture.

Says Kamal Taneja, managing director, TDI Infrastructure Ltd, “Seeing the growing aspirations of the people and in an effort to offer something new and unique to our customers, we decided to create the look and feel of Europe in India. And there is no better example of the continent than Tuscany, known as the largest open-air art gallery in the world. Our effort would be to create a slice of Tuscany (home to beautiful cities like Florence, Pisa and Siena) in Kundli. However, all this will come at an affordable and cost-effective pricing.”

Spread over 40 acres of land, Tuscan City is ideally situated next to NH-1. The township will offer plots in sizes varying from 250 to 500 sq yds, row houses, independent floors (2 and 3 BHK) and villas.

According to the company, 80 per cent of the area in Tuscan City would be dedicated to the greens and the township will - true to Tuscan style - have classic fountains, water bodies, cobbled pavements and central piazzas. There is extensive use of arches and the township will sport international amenities and world-class professional maintenance facilities.

Tuscan City will also include a commercial space in the shape of an Italian marketplace, where people can shop for their daily needs. There will also be a clubhouse with a swimming pool, billiards room, tennis court.

I have a plot in block ‘K’ Tdi kundi. Went there recently after two years to see. Not much is going on the site except work on kingsbuy flats and some shopping complex. The roads are made only upto block ‘E’. From block ‘E’ to ‘K’ there is a very very very broken and bad road. That’s it.

Only 5 villas constructed in Block ‘E’ while there is no labour, no work going on at all anywhere. Checked with the marketing office of TDI on site and the guy said we will be lucky to get 9000 psq.yd. for the plot (We bought it for 10000 psq.yd).

While everytime I call TDI about possesion of property they say ‘in next six months’. This has been going on for the last 2 years!

Anybody has an idea what to do?
